Privacy

Public beta legal notice. Effective July 3, 2026.

FlightNight is built by Apps 4 That LLC (Indiana, USA). The short version: your league lives on your device.

On-device first

Rosters, schedules, scores, handicaps/quotas, standings, and the money board are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you use. FlightNight has no player accounts and no server-side league database in this preview. Clearing your browser data deletes your league; we cannot recover it, because we never had it.

Player names you enter are visible only on your device. We suggest first names or nicknames — the app never asks for player emails, phone numbers, or payment details.

The money board never touches money

The money board is a tracker only. It records dues you say you charged, payments you say happened, and payouts you plan. It never holds, collects, custodies, transfers, or pays out money; it is not connected to any payment network or processor. Marking a row "paid" changes a checkbox on your device — nothing more. How your league actually moves its money is entirely between you and your league.

What does touch the network

  • The optional AI Commissioner. If you ask it a question, your question text (plus the retrieved rule cards used for grounding) is sent to our serverless endpoint and on to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the answer. We do not send your roster, scores, or money board. The free on-device coach never makes a network call.
  • Checkout. If you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's pages. We never see card numbers.
  • If you ask us to email you. See "The optional mailing list" below — only what you type into that form is sent, and only if you submit it.
  • Fonts. Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts, which sees standard request metadata (like your IP address) when fonts load.
  • Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which processes standard server logs (IP, user agent) to deliver pages.

The optional mailing list

Draft — under attorney review; final copy and the named email provider may change before launch.

FlightNight has one place that asks for an email: an opt-in box (for example, "email me this season's standings link") on the standings screen. It is entirely optional, and it is completely separate from your league data.

When you use it, we store only: the email address you type, a note of the interest that box represents (that you organize a weeknight golf league — general tags like "golf" and "league-organizer," never your roster, player names, scores, dues, or any money-board figures), the marketing consents you checked, and basic source information (such as the ad or link that first brought you here). Two separate consent boxes, both off by default: one for FlightNight news, one to hear about other Apps 4 That apps. We never pre-check them, and every email includes one-click unsubscribe.

Cross-product note. Apps 4 That LLC makes several apps. If — and only if — you check the second box, we may recognize you across Apps 4 That apps to avoid duplicate emails and tailor what we send. That is the only thing shared, it happens only with that consent, and it never includes any app's private data.

Processors for the mailing list (in addition to Vercel and Stripe above):

  • GitHub — until our email provider is finalized, a submitted email plus its interest tags and consent choices may be stored in a private Apps 4 That store hosted on GitHub. This interim store may move to a dedicated email service provider at launch; this page will name it when it does.
  • An email service provider (to be named at launch; the current candidates are MailerLite or Customer.io) that stores the list and sends the mail.

We do not sell your information.

Apps 4 That LLC also maintains a single unified privacy & audience policy (DRAFT) covering the optional mailing list across all Apps 4 That apps; it is under attorney review and this page governs FlightNight in the meantime.

What we don't do

  • No advertising trackers, no tracking cookies, and no fingerprinting. We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookie-free page and event counts (for example, that a page was viewed or the app was opened) with no personal data and nothing tied to your identity or your league.
  • No sale of personal information, ever.
  • No player accounts. We never collect your players' emails, phone numbers, or payment details — only, if you choose, your own email for the optional mailing list above.
  • No location access, no camera, no microphone.

Children

FlightNight is for adult league organizers and is not directed to children under 13.
